I, Ken Van Deynze, of Treherne, Manitoba have been actively farming for the past 32 years.

I had the opportunity to assist Robert Wynnoble for a bushel per hour test using 2 8” x 37’ Supercharged Brandt augers. One auger had a SuperEdge Flight flighting. The other auger had an Uniflyte UltraFlyte.

We conducted the test using 63 pound per bushel Kane hard red spring wheat, running both augers for 2 minutes at maximum intake capacity at 532 rpm and weighing the results.

The results were very positive, achieving an additional 5670 pounds or 90 bushels with the Uniflyte UltraFlyte versus the SuperEdge Flight.

As farmers, we know that saving a few minutes loading can often mean a difference of an extra load a day getting to an elevator before it closes.
